Destiny or Fate:
Destiny is where our own desire may affect in the outcome, whereas fate is utterly done and there is negative mostly and there is not impact of our efforts to alter it.
Simply fate is what is predefined and destiny takes our role and it may be reaction of out acts.
e.g. it was my destiny to reach late because i was wasting my time.
e.g. religious people embrace their fate.
